Mrs. Frisby Projects
Three students developed three very different novel projects for Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. Fernand constructed a one-man play of sorts (using additional voices). Jack put together a really great rap song. Damian filled in some of the gaps that the author "left out". Listen here or subscribe to the podcast.

February 8, 2010
What an interesting week this will be. In essence, it's a tribute to the varied nature of physical fitness. Talk to you child about the demanding task of square dancing. You can also check out some of the moves. You are welcome to attend our Friday square dance assembly.
The Olympic torch also made its way through our neighbourhood. One of our students even got a chance to hold the famous icon.

Olympic Torch Run
The Olympic torch will be by our school at 160 Steet and Fraser Highway shortly after 5:30pm on Monday, February 8. 2010. I'd encourage you all to find some place along the torch course on that day. Perhaps we'll see you that day! And don't forget to wear your Canadian colours!
