For a second unbelievable day, school is cancelled due to snow and poor road conditions. Check out CKNW for proof. Students can use this extra day to study for their Friday Scribbler test and continue to work on their French play (see mp3 on side panel). See you all Thursday!

Coming Events

Please be aware of a few important dates arriving shortly:

• Class pictures happen Wednesday, February 6 (note date change). Students should come to school in attire in which they wish to be immortalized in Surrey Christian history.
• Our Chinatown field trip is next week (Thursday, February 7, 2008). We are looking for parent chaperones for our all day walking tour in addition to a couple parents willing to drive.

Crazy Hair Day

Along with hot lunch, this Friday welcomes a crazy hair day. Put on your best set of locks and enjoy this zany day.

Sewing

We began our sewing exploratory last Friday. Students were grouped with parent volunteers who led them into the wide world of sewing. We'd like to extend a huge thank you to our parent volunteers for contributing to this program.

Cornell Notes

Notalon is an excellent piece of freeware designed to create Cornell notes, which is a good tool for preparing for upcoming tests.
