Sewing Exploratory
Our sewing exploratory is fast approaching and we are looking for volunteers who can help out from 10:30am to 12:35pm on these dates: January, 12, 19, 26 and February 1. We are also looking for sewing machines. Our big concern is for a coordinator, someone who could undertake this project. All the lessons are planned. If you are able to help out please contact your child's teacher.

Indiatown
Our trip to the Sikh Temple and Scott Road was made successful by a very informative Mr. Singh and our wonderful parent drivers. The students saw a side of Surrey today they likely would never have seen had it not been for all the events of this day. Please take some time this evening talking with your child about all that was seen and heard.

Uganda's Forgotten Children
Today in chapel Ms. Debbink showed a rather revealing film about Uganda's Forgotten Children. Unlike the lives of most children in Canada, these kids lead horrific lives, which this film graphically illustrates. A note of caution, however, in that there are many images which some viewers may find difficult to watch.

Students need their recorders and practice records on the new dates.
